As a nonprofit, we offer low-cost spay and neuter. Please read all of the information below so you understand the low-cost pricing and admin fee. Then select one booking type based on your pet qualifications either expedited or standard booking request forms.

Spay/neuter services are available by appointment only.

Please read important info below, then choose the option to request an appointment that best suites you.

Important Notes:

  • If you think your pet might be pregnant when booking an appointment, add "PREGNANT"..

  • Sorry, we do not spay or neuter Dobermans or Doberman mixes or dogs over 65 lbs, however, we do have a good referral list, please email us.

  • You must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance by emailing Book@Spay4LA.org to reschedule or receive a refund of your administration fee. (please type “Reschedule” in the subject line)

  • Puppies under 13 months old: Proof of their first two DA2PP (parvo) vaccinations is required before booking an appointment.

  • Unsure of your dog’s weight, size, or breed classification (e.g., brachycephalic) please email us a photo of your pet at Book@spay4LA.org.

PRICING

There is a small administration fee payment for your appointment, based on pet’s species and breed.
This fee helps cover the cost of pain medication and e-collar to take home after surgery. For low-cost options in some cities please visit our Spay and Neuter page.

CATS

  • $160

  • $45 Admin Fee (Non Refundable)

  • Total = $205

FERAL CATS: If you have a community (feral) cat that you are trying to spay or neuter, please email us at Book@Spay4LA.org for assistance. Some areas offer low cost assistance.

Dogs

  • Up to 39 lbs.

  • $240

  • $45 Admin fee (non Refundable)

  • Total = $285

  • 40-65 lbs.

    • $240

    • $65 Admin Fee (Non Refundable)

    • Total = $305
